Las honras, la osadía del Verano,
con que se ennobleció y atrevió al cielo,
al mejor cielo del más fértil suelo
hoy las trasladas mi atrevida mano.
Parece es por demás al que es tirano,
de cuanto presunción honra su vuelo,
dar flores, si tus flores son recelo
a las del cielo, rostro soberano.
Dallas es por demás, si estás segura
envidian de tu rostro las más bellas
partes (y partes no, por no atreverse).
¡Ay, cuales, Celia, son! da vida el vellas.
Flor eres; mientras flor, de tu hermosura
coge la flor, que es flor, y ha de perderse.
