Filis pues la ocasión de venerarte
no puede ser mayor, aunque me impida
la enfermedad el ilustrar la vida
con ir a verte, sóbrame el amarte.
La dicha de ser visto y de adorarte,
gloria que debe ser tan pretendida,
por excesivo honor fuera homicida,
sino me reparara el contemplarte.
Reza y con razón favorecido,
grande bien, más que excede a mi flaqueza
que dice tu milagro con decoro.
Si en amar es más fuerte el más rendido,
defecto fuera en mí la fortaleza,
que para más deberte, más te adoro.
