Filis tú te concede a tu alabanza
que todo Apolo no es bastante aliento,
tú que eres plenitud del pensamiento,
y límite a los siglos de esperanza.
Lo mejor de la vida en ti se alcanza,
ya no hay a que vivir, último intento
eres al más sublime entendimiento
la misma perfección tu semejanza.
Si es premio de virtudes la belleza,
aun te es deudor el Cielo, y la es gloriosa
la deuda, tanto a la mejor se inclina.
En ti se mejoró naturaleza,
si por obligación eres hermosa,
por fuerza noble, por razón divina.
