Tan claro desengaño me habéis dado,
señora, en lo mejor de mi esperanza,
que por no ver en vos tan gran mudanza
holgara de vivir siempre engañado.
Mas vos me habéis de suerte desansiado
del bien en que tenía confianza,
que con mis ojos vi mi mal andanza,
y fui a mi muy pesar desengañado.
Mortales son las señas que yo vide,
tanto que si la fiesta no es llegada,
en vísperas que estáis de celebrarla.
Gozadla bien, pues ella así lo pide,
mas ser, señora , un poco recatada,
que no lo sepa yo, que he de llorarla.
