Soneto
Triunfó la culpa, incontrastable y fiera,
hasta que el Cielo resolvió, aplacado,
que una Virgen sin mancha de pecado,
la atropellara y su altivez rindiera.
Dio al hombre Dios su libertad primera,
y estableció, por mejorar su estado,
el Sacerdocio santo, en que humanado
le goza, y siempre de gozarle espera.
Hoy, que la Virgen sigue su victoria,
ya votan su limpieza, en voz festiva,
los Sacerdotes con fervor devoto.
Bien oprimida yaces, culpa altiva,
pues son tu oprobio eterno, y nuestra gloria,
Virgen, Limpieza, Sacerdocio, y voto.
