- LXIX -
Como suele en el aire la cometa,
o alguna otra señal nueva espantarnos,
y tanto su temor hace avisarnos,
que entonces cada uno es gran profeta,
así, muestra de bien clara o secreta,
si a mí y a mis sentidos queréis darnos,
no podemos sino mucho alterarnos;
tan nuevo está en el bien nuestro planeta.
No sufre mi dolor ningún estado
de ningún bien si no es muy poco a poco;
de otra arte pienso ser siempre engañado.
Nunca creo el placer, aunque le toco;
y si tan mala vez me he asegurado,
temo que me tendrán todos por loco.
