- XXVIII -
Vuelve el deseo a levantar su rueda;
reverdece y barrunta ya el verano;
la tierra viste su color temprano;
mozo está el año, al buen estado rueda.
El alma en su esperanza se está queda,
aunque avisos le dan de mano en mano;
flores vendrán, mas nunca vendrá el grano;
con hambre quedará si en esto queda.
No quedaré sino muy mantenido,
que al desear, mantiénele el deseo;
yo traigo en mí lo que para mí pido.
Quiero querer y es mi querer cumplido;
mas en tal tiempo a veces me proveo,
que es mayor hambre estar más proveído.
