Como el ventor que sigue al ciervo herido,
su sangre y sus pisadas rastreando,
y anda tras él, acá y allá ladrando,
hasta verle en el suelo ya tendido;
así, señora, vos me habéis seguido,
mi muerte y mi deshonra procurando,
y la saña y poder sobre mí echando,
que hasta el punto postrero me ha traído.
En ver mi corazón estar llagado,
no dejáis de correrle y acosarle,
dándole siempre allí do le habéis dado.
Y si en algo tenéis algún cuidado,
es en seguirle hasta derribarle,
y en matarle después de derribado.
