- LXXIX -
Nueva prisión hubiera de matarme,
según hallé peligro al entrar de ella.
Pero cesó la parte la querella,
y alcance, por juicio, de librarme.
Andan ahora por tornar a echarme
al yugo antiguo, que en mis huesos sella;
que para allá me arrebató mi estrella
y allá me tiene sin dejar holgarme.
Confesaré, si dicen que he mudado,
que mudo el accidente, algún pedazo,
no a la raíz del mal acostumbrado.
Un mudar fue de un corazón cansado,
como es mudar en el izquierdo brazo
el peso del derecho atormentado.
