Cuando el volar del corazón levanto
y miro aquella que muerto me tiene,
allí un derretimiento se me viene
que enternece y extiende más mi llanto.
Allí hace mi mal dulce su canto;
allí mi vida tanto bien sostiene
que se me antoja, puesto que más pene,
que aún no me cubre amor bien con su manto.
En mi querer sospecho flojedad,
mas hallo que es la fuerza del objeto,
y así descanso con esta verdad.
Todavía temiendo mi defecto,
si no puedo acusar mi voluntad,
me vuelvo a mí, y acuso a mi sujeto.
