Cosa es común en los enamorados
holgarse con sus mismos pensamientos,
hacer consigo grandes fundamentos,
para fingirse bienaventurados.
Quieren éstos andar muy apartados,
buscando soledad a sus tormentos;
recógense en sus propios sentimientos
y entre sí con el mundo andan doblados.
Muy al revés es de estos la mi vida;
que no sólo no huelgo ya conmigo,
pero soy para mí un cargado peso.
Huyendo de mí siempre, a mí me sigo,
y anda la cosa ya tan bien partida,
que el cuerpo es la prisión, y el alma el preso.
