— a court-room is discovered, crowded with spectators — when the trial is about half over, the is seen with a huge bundle of waste paper, trying to seat himself at the table where the counsel engaged are — but, being denied admission, he seats himself exactly where he has no business — an understrapper in an attorney's office, about the time the counsel commence summing up, also seats himself as assistant, and they pretend to write "short-hand."
